Nestled in a small valley of 35 wooded acres along Good Luck Road, Parkdale High School derived its name from the surrounding Riverdale, Greenbelt Park, Baltimore-Washington Parkway, and College Park sites. Our school serves students from the adjoining communities of Lanham, New Carrollton, Berwyn Heights, College Park and Landover. Parkdale, with a population of 2,200 students, is a diverse community with students from over 40 countries. Parkdale offers a successful International Baccalaureate Program, ESOL for over 300 students, AJROTC, and a wide and varied program of studies for all students.
