BASIC INFORMATION AND RULES

Please read the following information carefully. 

Saturday School is a place for all children to learn and grow.  We want to help students to do better in school and perform well on state and local assessments. 

ENROLLMENT:  Enrollment is limited.  Our hope is to have enough room for all children wishing to participate in the H.S.A. Saturday Program.  Space is limited please register as soon as possible.

ATTENDANCE:  Regular attendance is important.  Our children who have a number of unexcused absences will be asked to leave.  Children are expected to stay for the entire program each day.

DISCIPLINE:  Participation in the After School Program and/or Saturday is a privilege.  A child must follow the rules of the program.  Your child will be required to sign a Personal Responsibility Contract.  Disruptive or disrespectful behavior towards other students or staff is a reason for dismissal.  We encourage you to discuss concerns about your child’s behavior with the coordinators or the principal.  Students who are suspended from PGCPS schools may not attend After School or Saturday Extended Learning during the time frame of the suspension. 

PARENTAL SUPPORT:  Our staff is committed and qualified.  Your help is needed to make the program the very best it can be.  You are important partners in our program’s success, and we look forward to your help with events and activities, tutoring, parent workshops, and other projects.  Let us know how you want to be involved.
